Next Friday, my band Brown Eye Superfly (http://www.browneyesuperfly.com) are supporting Dogs Die In Hot Cars at King Tut's in Glasgow - we've just been called by the BBC to ask our permission to record our set for broadcast.

Anybody fancy coming to see us? You can listen to one of the songs from our album at the website, and you can buy our single and album from the site also.

There should be a review of the album going up on the CD Times sometime soon.

Oh - if you're in Glasgow or Edinburgh, you can buy either of the single or album from Fopp, Missing, Vinyl Villains or Borders (Glasgow only for Borders).

Cheers!

hrm, bit far for a Londoner... let us know when you're playing down south - listening to the music on your site you sound like a damn fine band :)

We're going to be playing all over England in the summer - probably just before the festival period.

Cheers! :)

Hi Creamstick,

I'm interested in your band. Good song you have on the site. Have you got any MP3's?

Would go but not going back up to Glasgow for a while. Usually go to tuts every time i'm up. If you're playing London I'd definitely go and help with the numbers.

I'm a big fan of Dogs Die In Hot Cars. Heard a few of their songs and every one of them has been quite superb.

Listening to the song on the site and :oh-hum:

Just kidding!! It's GREAT!!!!

I'm listening to Lo-fi though due to dial up at the mo, does it sound better on Hi-fi? It sounds a bit crackly (for want of a better description) in the background, slightly muffled. Interested in the album I have to say :)

Cheers everyone :)

There's an mp3 of one of the non-album tracks from the Evil Baby single "Gotta Tell Him How You Feel" for download here - Elevation Station (www.elevationstation.net/mp3/browneyesuperfly.htm), and there's an interview with us (if anyone's interested :D ) up at UnSgnd.com (http://www.unsgnd.com) .

Cheers Bish - we're getting some radio airplay with it up here (we have a few remixes of it too which are excellent).

Hehe I remember seeing Dogs Die in Hot Cars when I was at uni in St Andrews... the posters for the gig really confused us - we thought it was some sort of animal rights group!! Good gig though!

Probably not, but I'll keep everyone posted.

There should be a few more features done on us on more site and stuff in the next few weeks too, I'll post when I know anything.

It's good to see a forum member's band doing well -

Nice one! Cheers mattk!

Just got back from the gig - pretty damned good even if I do say so myself :) It was sold out, so the place was absolutely packed to the gills.

Roll on February, and the Caledonian Backpackers in Edinburgh!!

Colin, what happened to that review? ;)
