OK peeps where would you upgrade my system ?

Bush idTV 4:3 28"
Sharp XVc20e Projector

Sony 1070 Amp

Pioneer 535 multi region
LG sn909 svhs

Front: Wharfdale 7.1 Floorstanders (with gravel for ballast)
Rear: Tannoy 603
Centre: ageing Yamaha
Sub: Yamaha sw80
Centre Rear: Crappy old surround speaker from previous Pro-logic setup.

speaker cable - cabletalk biwire.
Interconnect: Gold plated Tandy stuff picked up in the bargain bin.
OFC S-video to the projector
Gold plated OFC Scart.

Phillips Pronto

Intended upgrades - Paradigm PDR1000 sub and a new centre (reccomendation please !). Will re-use my old centre for the centre rear.

Thoughts people please !

What aspect of your system are you not happy with?

Dialogue could be better and the sub can be one note.

Conventional wisdom would suggest going for a Wharfdale centre for balance. I would also look at completing the set by buying Wharfdale rears as well.

Which Warfie Centre would you recommend ?

I don't know, but following 'conventional wisdom', listen to some Wharfies and see if you like them. Failing that, I can recommend the Tannoy MxC 'cos i've got one of those!:D
