Hitachi Going Multi Region

Has anyone has there Hitachi DVD player converted to multi region? If so, how? Missed out the model! DVD250

You don't say which player you have, but try DVD Reviewer for their excellent hacks pages.

There are 3 Hiatchi players listed there, so one might be yours.

You can download the multi-region upgrade from the net,if you have a cdwriter you can then burn it to disc and load the new firmware.
The only problems are:will not play RCE discs,and problems with playback with some discs(Dinosaur,Matrix) .I think the site was www.theironduke.plus.com/HitachiSyndicate/
