View Full Version : Where can I get my Tosh 210E Chipped?
I currently have a Toshiba 210E but am now wishing I got it "chipped" to make it multi-region.
Is there any high street outlet that offers a reliable "chipping" service or will I have to send it off somewhere?
If so which Internet outlets should be considered / avoided?

Try: www.multiregionmagic.co.uk or the Forums (last I looked) sponsor www.dvdchips.co.uk
Avoid: http://www.techtronics.com but check out their prices.
Email and ask what guarantee they offer and make sure the machine has insured delivery and is RCE compatible (ie it'll play <u>all</u> Region 1 discs).
it does not need to be chipped its a software download by the
likes of leading edge concepts, just done mine
or your can try this what i got off a other site
( put dvd into player wait for regional code violation screen to
appear, once this happens press M (memory) button on the remote control , then press 1 for title and press play on remote
this will overide the regional code violation detection menu and you can watch the movie etc by entering the fwd on the on the remote and change chapters ect by using the T (title/chapter)
button on the remote,,he said he has succesfully played R1/R2/R4
dvds even RCE s by the way it worked on a freinds tosh 200
but like i said i got this from an other site, you pay your money you take your choose

Will this work on the Toshiba 100E.? I think the answer is NO but does anyone know different?

:p
Who told you this?!? Its the RCE workaround for older models like SD100 / 2109, it makes no difference to make the machine M/R
