I have a yamada DVD Slim 5320 and a Logitech Z560 4.1 PC speaker system.

Being Pc speakers the connectors are headphone jacks. I have connected these to the DVD from the heapphone jack through a female to female connector and through phono cables. My prob is that I am only getting 2 speaker rather than 4 speaker output.

Does anyone know the configuration that I need to use on the DVD to get the speakers to work?

The DVD does have Dolby 5.1 output and I have connected the rear and front speakers to the Logitech. The subwoofer and centre speaker connections are untouched.

help please !!!

Have you tried the obvious one - the fader control? :D

... or failing that, pushing the M3D button?

Fade varies the sound from front to rear a bit like a front to rear balance and the M3D is a '3D surround' type option AFAIK.

Dude,

Yeah tried the fade control and no difference.

The M3d will work but that is just 2 channel output spread over 4 speakers. I'm looking to get 4 speaker output.

Any other suggestions? :-)
