playusa.com say that the 1st season of Larry Sanders is RCE - i've never had a disc with this knowingly, and I'm not sure if I could play it. I've got a PS2 with a region X disc, and a Pioneer Multi Region DV-350. Anyone know if I could play it? I reeeeally want to!

As I understand it, the Region X will allow you to select Region 1 manually won't it ? If so, RCE disks should play OK in the PS2 at least. I believe it's the 'Region 0' type hacks that still give trouble.

I'm hoping that's correct as I have 'Newsradio' on backorder which is also RCE.

IM 99% sure Larry Sanders, and some of the other RCE titles listed on play, are not RCE. I know some are but i believe play are just covering themselves with it. I received Once Upon a Time in Mexico today, listed as RCE and is not.

Forget RCE - when the hell are they going to release more box sets?

One of the best shows of all time & I need my DVD fix :/

Thanks kids :)

The show definitely needs to be archived on DVD. It's criminal that noone in the UK is showing it. I kept meaning to tape it from UK Play before it went defunct, they showed 2 a night at 1am or something......

Definitely not RCE - cos I can play it!

I'm sure I read something concerning the Twin Peaks debacle that said that Artisan won't be releasing more Larry Sanders - idiots!

BTW the picture quality isn't up to much. :gag:
