The Predator Films

What are the best versions of these films available on DVD?

Is it the R2 box or the R1 individuals?

Which are cut, which has best extras, best sound and cisual picture?

If you want them both get the French Box Set, unlike the UK DVDs they are UNCUT! "Stick around." and all.:D :D :D

And if for whatever reason you don't want a DVD box in French in your collection, then get Predator 1 on region 1. (I don't think number 2 is out there yet)

But above all - AVOID THE CUT UK EDITIONS!

How much do the French version of the Predator disc cost... if I was going to get it I'd probably go the French R2 for Predator and the Australian R4 for Predator 2.

But I haven't seen the two films so it would be a bit of a risk. But with Arnie kicking the guts out of everything, it shouldn't be too risky. :D

At studio day 2001 Fox mentioned that there is a Special Edition planned for Predator but only for Europe as there is a rights problem in the US.
