Recommend me a 32" TV ?

Looking for a good tele - 32"

i have no idea where to start

Want one under £1k

thinking about a Tosh or JVC or a good brand like this

pls help and also tell me where to buy from

What about raising your budget slightly and going for the rather superb Panasonic Acuity TX32PD30C for around £1,150 -£1,200 online?

e.g www.prcdirect.co.uk have it for £1,179.95 with free delivery to UK mainland. Or if you price match with John Lewis [they have it at £1,495!:eek: ] I believe they give a free 5 year warranty. [going by what I read on these forums as I live in NI and there are no John Lewis shops here]

Check out the picture quality of this set at a local store - I guarantee you will be impressed [provided they have a decent source connected of course :rolleyes: ]

Other than Panasonic I would also recommend you check out the Toshiba 'picture frame' series of sets.

IMO JVC are not in the same league.

Tosh 32ZP38 will be the mutts...I own the 36" version and it is a peach.

Prog-scan with both PAL/NTSC sources = sublime DVD watching.

I saw the 32PD30 for £1189 inc. 5yr warranty at John Lewis(Trewins) Watford a few weeks ago. May be worth calling them to confirm and getting your local JL to supply. Sometimes their prices vary between branches.

If you can stretch to it, what hifi are recommending the Panny 32PD30 with the Tosh 32ZP38 a close second.

I'm seriously tempted by the 36" version of the Tosh to replace my ageing Sony kv32fx60, but to be honest there's nothing really wrong with my sony.

The tosh really looks nice though (and I really need to hide the credit card)

Money isn't the problem, it's just that I dont really need a new tv as the sony is fine, but the tosh is calling to me :)
