View Full Version : Laserdisc Ebay Eyeopener !!! OMFG
Wish I had this one (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3376305305&category=381) in my collection !!
It's almost worth buying just to break in two and keep the cirulation of that offense of a film from being watched anymore.

I threw out a copy of this 3 bloody months ago along with my Edge magazine collection...
They say moving house is the most stressful thing ever and I can bloody well see why.
:(
wow.
I don't like that movie but laser discs look so cool!
They make some great packaging with DVDs, but how much cooler do those absolutely massive covers look and feel?
class!
I remember a mate of mine buying various Titanic collectables when the VHS came out. I advised him to get the laserdisc versions as the formats' days were numbered and, one day, it would be sought after. Would he listen? Oh no......

Peanuts. Signature collection of "The Frighteners" has gone for more than double that. I believe there’s also a THX test disc that goes for silly money as it has some Star Wars OT clips on it.

I think it's ridiculous. The R2 dvd is available on the high street for a fiver. £118 to say you have a DTS Laserdisc version.

I'm sorry but no film is worth that no matter what the spec or how rare a version it is.

I guess you never bought laserdiscs in the day, i would spend about £35-£50 just for 1 movie most of the time with no extras. And if i wanted the special edition version of a movie it would cost anything from £45-£250 (Star wars box set was the only i paid £250 for)
