Saw Ghost World at the premiere of the Raindance Film Festival in London last night and have to say it was one of the best films I've seen this year.
I admit my opinion might be slightly coloured by the fact I was sitting within an audience of people attached in some way to the film industry, all wanting to enjoy the film, and I probably wouldn't have laughed half so much if I had seen it at my local megaplex or on DVD but, that said, it was still very enjoyable.
Steve Buscemi and Thora Birch were both excellent (and I didn't think I would ever say that about Ms Birch after The Hole) and the script was intelligent and well written.
Go see it, I don't think you will be disappointed.
