Now that I've finally disciplined myself to write one review a week (my target is 120 reviews over the next two years!), I thought I'd start a thread linking to all my Russian Cinema Council DVD reviews, and indeed any other reviews I find elsewhere.

<UL>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=309&story=2257">Ballad of a Soldier</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=300&story=2235">Professor Dowell's Testament</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=Review&id=262&story=2133">Viy</A>
</UL>

Plus, for the hell of it, my other Russian DVD reviews:

<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/andreirublev.html">Andrei Rublev</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/brother.html">Brother</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/mirror.html">Mirror</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/nostalghia.html">Nostalghia</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/offreaksandmen.html">Of Freaks and Men</A>
<LI><A HREF="http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?html=y&id=reviews/other/sacrifice.html">The Sacrifice</A>
</UL>

I get them direct from Ruscico, but I wouldn't recommend going down that route, as it involves committing to buying the entire collection!

They say they'll be arranging online sales of individual discs on their <A HREF="http://www.ruscico.com">website</A>, but in the meantime <A HREF="http://www.musicbox.fr">Musicbox</A> in France looks like a good bet, and <A HREF="http://www.amazon.com">Amazon</A> in the US offers some of them as well - a few titles are distributed over there by Image Entertainment.

Note that anything sourced from Europe will be R0 PAL and anything from the US will be R0 NTSC, and they produce separate cover artwork in three languages: Russian, English and French! For the record, all my reviews will be of the PAL versions.
