View Full Version : Panasonic projector hidden menu?

I am sure I have read somewhere (almost positively these forums) that there is a hidden 'engineer' type menu for the Panasonic PT-AE100E entered by pressing two buttons on the remote control. This menu has a few interesting features, such as displaying a pure full colour on the screen and being able to increase or decrease the fan speed manually (without changing the brightness).
I can't remember how to get in to it anymore and no amount of searching seems to offer any insight.
I wondered if anybody on here could help?
Cheers.
IIRC go to the option menu then hold down the enter/ok button when the OSD selection is highlighted,

Has anyone experimented with slowing the fan to make it quieter? obviously not too much as I imagine the bulb life will be compromised?

That's it! Cheers ajw000, it's been doing my head in for ages as I couldn't remember it.
Thanks again!
