Films/DVDs I'm looking forward to!

This year for films has been terrible. Shrek was the best film I saw and while I like Planet of the Apes it could have been better, but I just hated Tomb Raider, Mummy Returns, Dracula 2001 and Series 7: The Contenders.

I hope these few films in last couple months live up to expectations.

What Films / DVDs are you looking forward to?

I'm still drooling for Ocean 11 remake. i think that could be pretty classy. Also the panic room and once upon a time in mexico should be good with the directors that are attached.

DVD wise i think the first two beverly hills are high on my list and i'm also looking forward to the 5 star True Lies and Speed. I haven't seen them in AGES or in widescreen so that should be a blast, especially if they're in DTS.

at the moment i think i'm only really "looking forward" to fellowship of the ring and star wars - episode II cinema-wise. there are plenty of films that i want to go and see but i'm not chomping at the bit.

on the dvd-front: looking forward to moulin rouge and stuff you mentioned like back to the future and blade runner. non-movie stuff i can't wait for would be the simpsons: season two and the first two battle of the planets / gatchaman discs from rhino.

I'm with Robby here.

Oceans 11 looks like it's gonna be an absolute corker.

Soderbergh directing Pitt and Clooney, two of the most charismatic leading men in Hollywood. The bits I've seen of the two of them together looks like they are gonna make a formidable double act.

Not to mention the always brilliant Don Cheadle and another awesome soundtrack from David Holmes.

It's looks (and sounds) a bit like Out Of Sight 2, but then that's no bad thing.
