I remember hearing that the BBC were going to be showing a brand new drama based on the events of D-DAY and much in the style of band of brothers, sometime in the new year. Seeing as WW2 stuff interests me greatly, I'm very keen to see this. Does anyone know any more about it?
I expect it will be on the 60th anniversary of D-DAY, june 6th 2004

The following dramas have also been commissioned, but no schedule information is currently available:
D-Day -
Two hour factual drama documentary, due to air in June 2004, which will mark the 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
Dunkirk -
BBC TWO's dramatic recreation of the events surrounding the daring Dunkirk rescue of 1940.

Hi snow patrol,
If you like WW2 stuff why not ease your wait at your local Library?
My local Library has several factual videos on WW2 that are Free to rent as long as you are a library member and several Videos and DVD of films available for a small fee, Smaller if you are on benifits.
Just an idea!
Bye.
