Anyone else noticed a slight lip-synch problem with the R1 EE Two Towers ?
I certainly havn't an issue with my other DVDs or my R1 FOTR EE, but there is most certainly a niggling lip-synch issue on my R1 TT EE.
The extras discs seem fine though.

I've noticed lip-sync errors too. I've seen two different R1 copies display the problem on different players. It's just a bit of dodgy authoring, and to be honest most people aren't observant enough to notice. It's worst near the beginning of disc one, no? Disc two seemed fine to me.

I think I did notice this at one point, certainly early on and I know I didn't see anything wrong later. Just the slightest touch out, only realised once and I've watched it many times.

i remember noticing it in one scene early on... wasnt really noticable anywhere else.
figured it was just to do with audio pickups not being quite spot on.
certainly didnt spoil the film :)

I've noticed it too on ALL my players. I guess it depends to what extent that kind of thing bothers you for it to be even noticeable.
The whole trilogy was basically looped in the studio afterwards.

To be honest, I think it's a little unrealistic to presume that, just because the film contains a lot of ADR, the dialogue may be slightly out-of-sync. The guys and gals who edit and engineer the soundtracks to these movies know what they are doing. They are the best in the business, and would never let lip-sync slip out.
Suffice to say, I never noticed sync problems in the theatrical version of the film, or in the theatrical DVD for that matter. I suspect the lip-sync error comes as a result of slightly rushed authoring, meaning that players will have problems reading and keeping the video and audio together at certain points.
FYI, I noticed hideous lip-sync errors in the theatrical DVD of Fellowship that were definitely not present in the cinema release. Mostly stuff between Gandalf and Frodo. A lot of people on these forums put it down at the time to McKellen fluffing his ADR. Come the Extended Edition, all traces of lip-sync were gone. Go figure. ;)

Yeah, it's only very slight, and I only noticed it on a couple of Frodo scenes (was too busy watching the movie). I'll have to double check.
My concern is if I move to a plasma screen which I understand can make things worse. Unless you can get widgets to adjust ???
