The Fly (1986)

Hi,
I've just been looking through the sales at the usual places and I keep seeing the Fly/Fly 2 double pack. I really would like the first movie but I remember something about a SE being planned. Does anybody have any info? Should I buy this pack or wait off?

I got the double pack from DVDsoon for about £7, can't really go wrong for £3.50 a film. Not heard anything about a SE, but I was shocked by how much the first film has dated in certain scenes.
