has anyone orderd from currys online? i order some bits a while back and my order still says..

the product was in stock when i orderd and is stil in stock now, any ideas how long till they think "oooh lets ship them"

For orders over the new year they quote 10 working days.

I have an order with PC World (ordered 25/12/03) and am still waiting for it, even though they took the money on the 1st Jan and I received the invoice from them yesterday (sent in normal post)

I bought a camera (for a Xmas pressie) and some bits n bobs on 12th December from Dixons online, delivery was quoted as 3-5 days.

After a week, I spent 25- 30 minutes trying to get through to their customer services, for 3 days i tried to no avail !!

E mailed them 3 times and still haven't had a reply...

Got a call from their "customer service on the 23rd December to say the items would not be dispatched until 5th January.

That left me a lot of time to get a camera for the pressie, NOT !!

My advice would be if you are in a hurry for an item then forget Dixons/Currys and use Amazon, far better option IMO.
