View Full Version : League Of Gentlemen audio problem?

Hi
I don't know if I just have a faulty copy or if anyone else has noticed this: On my League Of Gentlemen Series 2 DVD, the sound volume varies wildly - between scenes it can be loud or virtually inaudible. The first episode for instance, where Pauline's replacement breaks her pen and Mickey says "She's worse than you!" is so quiet then so loud I thought the TV had broken!
Has anyone else had this audio problem?
Cheers

I got my copy of this yesterday. So far, I've watched the first three episodes, and did not notice a problem (although I wasn't paying great attention).
As for the scene you're refering to: I know that is pretty quiet but it was far from inaudible, but I assumed that it was supposed to be - as if he's just muttering in the background (if it was full volume I assumed it would just seem like they were ramming the jokes home a bit).

Ok cheers,
maybe it's just my copy...episode 2 is definitely the same, scenes from the start where the boy gets his ice cream & opening titles definitely change volume considerably in places, it's very annoying.
Oh well, thanks anyway for checking.

My copy is fine as well, watched all the episodes through headphones and all seemed perfect.
