Have any of you guys recieved the total recall french tin yet?
Has it even been released? I would try and decipher the amazon email but my french is a bit rusty:D

should be release tomorrow unless they put it back another week like they did on the 3rd and the 10th :(

some guys already have it as part of the T2/Total Recall UE boxset which was released on the 3rd

Yes, i'm really forward for somebody to post a review here of the French total recall.

I can't review it yet... but from what I've seen it's an easy 8.5/10 the best version of it yet!:D

I have mine from the double set but unless I’m blind/stupid (possible) there is no commentary track on the French release. Worth bearing in mind I think.

Having checked the T2 and Total Recall box out in France over the weekend, I'd say stick with the American versions... much nicer imo.

The plastic box, the led and the tins look cheap and nasty - the less said about the awful flashing led the better :(.

Oh, and I think that this has been answered but there is NO dts track on either film. That said, in the same breath, if anyone wants a dts version of Scary Movie, go for the French R2 with an english dts track :).

Are you seriously stating that we buy the american total recall? The one with the box that can only be decribed as the design catastrophe of the last century!
I wasnt aware that there was a flashing LED on the box

The LED is on the 5 disc box set - the one with both T2 & Total Recall.

IMO yes, the french one looks poo. But thats my opinion, usually wrong :D.
