Hi all,

Regarding the above ...

I have only seen LOTR:TTT on the EE DVD and at the cinema in Dec '02 and I hope you can settle an argument for me ...

Does the "mad king" of ROTK, ie father to Farromir and Boromir (spelling on both ????), only appear in the EE of TTT or was he in the cinema release as well ??

I'm sure he is only in the EE and his scene(s) in it mean that his scenes in the ROTK make a lot more sense. IMO his scenes in TTT should have been left in.

TIA for any help.

Regards,

Adam Brunt

Correct. Denethor first appears theatrically in ROTK, although he is in the DVD EE of TTT...

Yep, he only appears in the flashback in TTT:EE. I'm hoping for a bit more of him in ROTK:EE though. His character still needs more explanation.

He's a Steward, not a king. Quite central to the shaping of the character.

And BTW, that's P-e-d-a-n-t, so let's put those flaming torches down guys.

I hope he is fleshed out abit more in the EE, he does seem to go off the deep end (literally) all of a sudden in the theatrical cut
