Custom Consoles for Minis, anyone used them before?? + stupid q- (doorpods??)

Hi, finally got around to getting the speakers for my mini, and i want to put them under the rear seats (dont wantto cut up the parcel shelf, and i think security wise it might be a reasonable idea). Seen this site (actually someone on the forums posted it in a different thread, which i cant know find) http://members.aol.com/MW9195/ and am after feedback really.

Never used them myself but have heard good things - plus they advertise regularly in the Mini magazines. Keep us informed - was going to get a speaker pod myself but decided I needed the space :D

yep, good things spoken about them, despite the fact that I've not used 'em myself. I honestly don't think you'd have any problem using them.

As a plug, try www.minifinity.com for more opinion.

no, that's true - there's a lot of ICE experts on there and I believe they know what they're talking about.

They don't like 6x9's on the parcel shelf even less and so I keep quiet!! :D Still, I don't necessarily need top of the range sounds - I'm happy with what I've got.

The speaker board under the rear seats should give some decent bass, but I'm certainly no expert on the subject.

lol, tbh i'm not fussed what other people think, my stereo is my dad's old cd player, and i'm hooking my MP3 player up to it, so we arent talking top quality sound to start with. Not bothering with sub/amp etc, so too me a pair of rears (i got the infinity 6X9s for chrimbo) will do (although may have to get some pods for the front)

stupid new question, that as its tied to this will go here aswell.

WTF are door pods?? front speakers would be very nice, but i think the custom console front pods would take up too much needed leg room unfortunately. Heard (both here, and reading other mini sites) that the Metro door pods will fit the mini, but i've no idea what they are!!
