One Night at McCools R1

This has to be one of the best comedies I have seen in a very long time. Paul Reiser is just superb in it and Liv Tyler - well what can you say, see looks like a billion dollars in it and I would sell my soul to get her!

The pic on the DVD is absolutely top notch and is pure reference quality. The audio is never going to be test material on comedy but it does its job very well.

The disc is stacked with extras including deleted scenes with a Director Commentary on them (no audio commentary included with the movie itself though), behind the scenes docs and trailers amongst others.

This has to be the next DVD you go out and buy - just superb and I give it 9/10! (down from 10/10 because when I wrote it, I had Liv Tyler on the brain!!)

i agree entirely, as do most uk review sites (well maybe not to the tune of 10/10), but it seemed to just pass everyone by in the US, with none of them really finding it funny - it cant be that its too sophisticated (quite an arrogant supposition) - I cant see why it didnt take off there since it is an excellent film.

It does lose some of its edge on the second viewing though. I still crack up at the DVD gags and the ending is absolutely hilarious. The highlight of the film would have to be Liv Tyler washing the car, closely followed by Michael Douglas' hair piece!:D

I've still not seen it but it <i>looks</u> brilliant from the trailer :D

I had it on order but cancelled it. I'll need to get it.
