SW: Episode I DVD with Episode II trailer via DVD-ROM!

thedigitalbits.com reports 'on November 9th, you'll be able to download the official teaser trailer for Episode II!'

As present this dvd has links to DVD website launched by Lucasfilm, anyone had look? If they have can give me the link.
Do you need the dvd to view the content?

Still waiting for my DVD!!:(

yes, you need the dvd in order to view the site. also, you can only view it through the InterActual browser that is installed along with the InterActual DVD player software that comes on the disc. i think you can get to the site from the dvd menu somewhere but i just put the disc in the drive, started up the IA browser and typed "dvd.starwars.com" and up came the site.

not much there at the moment though. however, the "Choices" video is superb - 5 still shots that are all brand new along with animated text, some music from the original trilogy and a wind sound effect.

don't worry about that trailer. it's another 25 days away .... i'm sure your disc will have turned up by then! :)

Nice to see that the dvd.starwars.com site states that you can only view this using the browser on a PC. So us Mac users get stiffed again

I can live without the DVD-Rom content, the advantages of having a Mac largely outweight the few disadvantages. The trailer will be available everywhere soon enough.

The irony of it is that most of the work on the trailer will be done on a Mac (the encoding, not SFX) and we will have to wait until it is released as a standalone d/l.

OSX alone is enough of a reason for me never to leave my Mac. :D

I haven't been able to access dvd.starwars.com yet, either thru the InterActual thingy that came on the disc, or thru my usual browsers. Is it just temporarily down at this particular moment in time?
