Can't believe no one else has posted this before but if there is anyone who is dithering (like moi!) about which region to go for then I can confirm that the R1 does have the commentary on the deleted scenes as well as the main feature!

Subs are removable and very good - being yellow with a black outline - nice and easy to read (I wish bloody Tartan would take note!)

The region 1 is a much better disc than the R2 (with it's burnt in subs and crappy sound mix etc!)

Hope that helps someone as it was getting on my tits not knowing which was better.

I'm confused, I understood that the R2 has Spanish 5.1 and English 2.0

I'll be watching it in the original language, oh hum :confused:

...ahh... but the Spanish DVD has a dts soundtrack, as well as DD 5.1... plus optional English subs... or so it says on the www.dvdgo.com site...

...will know for sure in about a week - just ordered the disc...

Hendrick - please report back and give us the result ;) . My wife is South American and this would be her choice. Do you know any other good spanish/latin amercian sites??
