Looks like the release date for Totally Bill Hicks is being put back yet again. I just checked my order on Play247 and the release date has changed fron 23/10/01 to TBA. :mad:
I am begining to think this release will never happen.
Does anyone know the reason for the delay?
No, but I did once heckle Bill Hicks, god rest his soul, something I'm not at all proud of, and something he mad me pay for dearly !

Yes - the extra time is being used to put together a 5 disc set of all Bill Hicks's live performances, disc 5 being a selection of previously unseen/unheard material - the picture & sound will be of reference quality & the whole package will retail for not more than £9.99.
Or maybe not.

I noticed my pre-order was now TBA. Will just have to keep waiting until this great man hits DVD.

Was well chessed off when I saw a "new" CD was being brought out and it truth it was just a compliation of the old stuff.
Apparently Kevin Booth at Sacred Cow is sitting on lots of never released material... Fingers crossed.

Is there a Bill Hicks 'discography' anywhere? I have 4 CDs & 2 VHS, I saw another CD, but it seemed to be a compilation of the other 4..
I keep explaining how to solve the hooligan problem, but no-one will listen, apart from the meeting at the docks....it's a conspiracy...
But is it true they won't let you look through the Book Respository(sp?) windows?

I've brought this up before, but does anyone remember when Rich Hall was on Room 101 and he stole the the Jay Leno/NBC peacock bit only it Garth Brooks/Country Music Television logo? I totally lost all respect for that guy, man I used to think he was funny.
dare i say it .......but have you guys not downloaded any bill hicks stuff ?..(sorry for defrauding the music industry )
but i've downloaded 4 killer cds of the late great one .

Yes i downloaded loads of bill from darkTimes in the days when MP3 was MP2!!! loads of good stuff, specially when bill spends a night with an agressive audience. He was angry and i think fustrated that night. do go and download it yo will not be disapointed.

Bill Hicks was the greatest comedian living or dead.
I heartily recommend buying some of the VHS's available only from Sacred Cow (www.billhicks.com ). The SANE MAN tape is absolutely fantastic!
Also his last ever interview from some US PBS channel is great as well.
They even do PAL versions and Kevin Booth will wrap your tapes in old issues of the Austin Times for extra authenticity! Excellent! :)
