Just bought this for the kids - they love it!
However, the DD5.1 track frequently dropsout. Shown on my Sony 930 as flickering between LFE and Subwoofer. I have a Samsung 709 too.
Do I have a duff disc, has anyone else seen this?

No drop-outs on my daughter's copy, but I haven't got a sub though.

My brother has just brought it for his son and it runs awfully on his imac dvd player, so I tried it on my Pioneer 535 and I get audio and vidual drop outs too.
He's taken it back but gets the same. Anyone else experienced probs??
It was purchesed in Smiths in Eastbourne

BabaPapa :
You don't need a sub. This is just the 930's way of saying that it lost the 5.1 track momentarily.
At a certain part in the movie, this happens every second! It could be that the combined bitrates (picture & sound) exceed the
DVD spec.
It could of course be a Samsung 709 problem!

I doubt the 930 would be the problem. Sounds like your player.
Sounds like you need to upgrade. Oh, but then your name would be screwed. :p
