samsung 709 remote

i've managed to lose the remote for my samsung 709 (well, when i say "i" i mean that my younger brothers and sister did when i was away for the year) and was wondering if anyone had any idea where i could get a new one? or maybe someone has one they don't use and could sell it?

It will probably cost about £20 to replace, and you can buy a new player starting at £36(see thread in bargain forum)i used to have a 709 and was very pleased with it,but increasingly had various problems with discs so you might want to use this as an excuse to replace/upgrade.

FWIW the remote from a Samsung 511 will also work.

You might want to ask in the forums at http://www.dvdinn.co.uk/ (formerly 709online.com) and see if anyone has an old one from a broken player. That's how I got mine replaced when left stopped working.
