Help with Stargate SG1 series needed

I can't wait for a season2 in R1 to come out, which might be another year or who knows when, so I'll just start getting them from R4 or R2.
Now I see that the covers/spines are the same so I could get the first few volumes from R4 as they are cheaper, but what's the best place to get R2 volumes 6 and up?
I would LOVE to get them all at 15 pounds from that Play247 but the ************ wouldn't ship to US!
All the other stores selling them at measly 1 pound off retail price, at 19.
So I guess with free shipping and 16 each Bensons world would be the best then?
I'm gona go read some video/audio quality reviews of the discs, so post your opinions please and let me know if there is a cheaper place to get them, maybe some special promotion like buy 2 get one half price or free or whatever. :o

www.under18.org.uk have them at 14.99 each and 2 quid postage to South Africa. So, I'd guess the US is the same.

Btw, all the European companies have to deduct VAT (sales tax) if shipping outside Europe. So if shipped from the UK that's 17.5% off.

play/under18 are in Jesery and don't have VAT, so that's why they are so cheap normally.

Vol 7 comes out in Australia on Oct 31st, so it'll be cheaper to get vols 8+ in the U.K.
It's weird that the U.S are so far behind, I think the U.K DVDs have reached season 4 now.

They certainly have, the next episode to released will be episode 9 of season 4 on disc 16.

Play show Volume 19 with the last episodes from Season 4 as being released in the UK on 28/1/02 so after that we will be into Season 5 !!!!!

I am desperate for Season 2 (and 3 etc) in a box set to go with my R1 Season 1 boxset. I did buy the first 4 episodes of Season 2 on R2 but I know if I buy more MGM will anounce the release of a Season 2 boxset the very next day ;-)

Thanks everyone! Yeah I see now that australian volumes 6 and 7 coming out on October 31st, so I'll get V2-7 from them as its cheaper and it will be a complete season 2, then Volumes 8 and up from UK for season 3 and 4.
I've seen that Under18 site, with 2 pounds shipping comes out to 17 each, while Bensons World has them for 16 with free shipping so it'll be cheaper.
Oh and why some of you waiting for boxsets? Still going to be the same thing only in a box :confused:

Hi Lenny,

The main reason I want boxsets is cos they save me big bucks.

If I bought all Season 1 from Play247 in the UK at £14.99 each (free P&P) it would cost me about £75 to £90 depending if it was 5 or 6 discs. Strangely we can't get Season 1 in the UK!!!!!. I got the R1 Season 1 boxset from DVD Boxoffice for about £45 all in (free postage and no Customs).

That's almost half price and more money to spend on other DVDs!!!
