Hi all, I am wanting rid of my Philps 728 as it is rubbish, I was going to get a Pacific 1002 from ASDA but they are out of stock indefinetly :(

So now I need a new player, it needs to have:

Region Free
DVD +R/+RW/-R/-RW
CDR/RW
VCD/SVCD/KVCD ect
The ability to play MPEG files from a disk without it being in VCD standard ect.

It needs to be relatively cheap (sub £100 ideally) any ideas?

thanks

They will get more in, but you have to be quick because they go fast.

I went to get a Pacific 1002 from ASDA this morning at 10am, none there but was told that 5 pallets full of them where coming in a few hours. I go back at 12.30 and they had 4 left.

They just cant meet the demand.

Why bother with a cheapy nasty make?

Pioneer DV-360. Pay no more than £99.99 and they contain one of the industries best laser's.

The reason i say this - is because the amount of people realising faults on these ASDA units is hilarious - buy cheap - get cheap!

umm because according to the specs, and various "User reviews" it doesn't do the MPEG ISO function :)

thanks anyway.
