Heh brilliant. I can remember seeing it the first time when I was younger at my local flea-pit. I thought (and still think) its quite a good movie.

Ah a drug-addled Corey Feldman shouting Cowabunga Dude and Ya Kid K on the soundtrack... those were the days.

The toys are big news again so the film re-release must be a cash/tie-in.

It's supposed to be a new directors cut, don't know what's different though.

I resisted watching these for years cause i thought they were trash. But when they showed it on tv some time later i realised that they're really well made fun movie! :)

PS haven't got round to seeing the sequals through, are they any good?

Last i heard was that it's now the uncut US version. Back when Turtles were at their height of popularity the BBFC still implemented the policy of ommiting any scenes in film swith a Nunchuku (SP?) and seeing as Michelangelo's primary weapon was a Nunchuku the films got cut to ribbons, even reference of a string of sausages used as if Nunchuku.

I was lucky enough to see the American version round my American friends back in the early 90's and the fight scenes (in the original anyway) were quite a bit longer.

The first and 2nd film are , imo, great popcorn action movies the third was a bit hit and miss. Turtles and time travel = not good bedfellows.

I believe you can pick up the three films in a R1 boxset.

Apparently the ending where Shredder cops it is quite significantly different (ie. nunchukas are involved)

This is not showing in Northern Ireland.

Typical, another campaign where NI is totaly left out of the UK once again! Once the point in being part of the uk if england, scotland and wales only get mentioned on things! lol Its stupid!

If my hazy memory recalls correctly Shredder get's thrown from the top of a building but clings onto the side with some nunchuku's. In the uk version he get's thrown straight over into the garbage truck.

I could be way off base but i think that's what happens.
