Max Headroom

Has anyone heard anything about either the original Channel 4 drama or the US TV series being released on DVD?

I emailed channel 4 a while ago, and got no reply :(

I recently found a source of (dodgy) VCDs, and I was stunned at the quality of the writing. Pity the picture quality of the VCDs (captured from VHS) didn't match.

While we’re on the subject how about the C4 Max Headroom video jock show. Why do all the best shows never see the (digital) light of day.

um, if you mean the Max Headroom that had him introduce different music videos from the time.. then i'd say that it's very doubtful it'll come to dvd or video because of copyright issues from the various artists that were on there.

When I was younger I used to think if I saw a sign with Max Headroom on it, it was something to do with the programme, thats telly for you I guess.

Went to the opening of a new restaurant a few years ago and who should be in front of me in the queue for coats at the end of the evening but Amanda Pays, unfortunately with husband Corbin Bernsen. I so wanted to say something to her but I was paralysed by her gorgeousness and the opportunity vanished "like tears in the rain" ;) Corbin is a very, very lucky man.
