View Full Version : Sky Digital Hardware - where?

I'm moving to Germany for 3 years after Christmas, and would like to have Sky Digital TV when over there. I know people over there now who already do this, no problems with reception etc.

All I need is to buy the hardware and take it with me.

The only issues are I need an address in the UK where I can register my account with them. Somewhere I can buy the kit without the cheap deal contracts that require you to be connected to the phone line constantly and will just let me take the hardware away, not come to my house and install it.

I'm sorted on the first point, my parents still live here. All I need to do is find some where that'll sell me all the hardware with no contract, I can then sort this out with Sky.

So my question, does anyone know of any supplies in the bristol area or online that fit this profile?

Thanks

Ritz

Don't know about suppliers but you can pick up everything you would need on Ebay

Well if you must buy from a 'supplier' just look up any local independant satellite ariel installer. However it'll be much cheaper as stated above to get if off ebay, you could probably get a nice panasonic box and dish for £100
