I know I know, don't worry I won't mention this again:)

After the conflicting opinions as to what region the Anchor Bay Suspiria is, I decided to e-mail Dcdvd to ask whether the disk is definately region 1 as they claim it is. They replied this afternoon saying

"The information we have on the disk has come straight from the studio, therefore it is region 1"

Is it?

I know Michael Brooke you told me it was region 0, and it's not that I didn't believe you, I just wanted to ask them to make sure as I'm not exactly loaded and wanted to be 100% before I paid the £30. I didn't fancy sending it back after drooling over the package in my hands.

Does anybody have a copy? Does it say what region it is on the back of the cover?

No it doesn't. I'm pretty sure that the majority of Anchor Bay disks are region free though - not that that helps you much, but I don't have an R2 machine to try my copy on. Sorry :(

Definitely Region 0

Just stuck it in my off the shelf PS2 and it played fine so must be a multi-region disk as my PS2 is R2 only :)

Now I can sit back knowing that my post has led to someone else spending £30, it's normally the other way round :D

OK, for the second time, just to reassure you, I've...

1) Switched my DVD player to Region 2.

2) Inserted an R2 disc - it played perfectly.

3) Inserted an R1 disc - it was rejected.

4) Inserted Suspiria disc one - it played perfectly.

5) Inserted Suspiria disc two - it played perfectly.

6) Inserted Straw Dogs - it was rejected.

I'll leave the interpretation of the above up to you!

:D
