Who on earth decided a load of rejects from Mini-Pops should have several hours of 'prime time' television.

At least the presenter seems to have realised he is at the nadir of his career with comments like "and vote for the one you like....or tactically vote for the worst song so that ours will have more chance of winning.......the number for Greece is.....;)."

No, I think the worse bit was Tara Palmer and that other bloke commentating. Can that bint get any thicker?! :cuckoo: :brickwall :nuts:

Thought the best three actually made the top three places in the end which was errr nice......

Bad points:

TPT and MDS just would not shut up!
The on stage presenters where utterly inept
The UK is hosting the next one :eek:
Greece and Cyprus giving each other twelve points AGAIN :oh-hum:
Various acts featuring pointless dancing/prancing loonies, acrobats and nutters (Did the unicyclist fall off or did I imagine it?)
Lunatic audience who by the end where more interested in legging it up the aisles to the back to appear on camera than watch the show.

High Points:

Woganesque comments - no one was taking this pap seriously :nuts:
One of the two lead girl singers on I think it was the Latvian entry who looked like she was losing the will to live half way through the song :lol:
The winning Croatian entry - he was rather good!

There was all sorts of barely hidden dodgy comments in there. The very first thing the bloke said was 'Here is the Grek entry to get us off to a dying start' before he quickly corrected himself.

There was also the dodgy comment he made about the female stage host's err frontal assets :lol: to which TPT quickly reminded him this was a childrens show!

All in all a hell of a disaster - and its quite possible these two idiots will be the stage presenters next year when its is in the UK! :nuts:

I actually enjoyed the song that the young chappie wrote from Spain. It was written for his mother who died, from what I remember.
