Sony service menus

Ive recently got a sony KD32DX40 tv. Quite pleased but the geometry is slightly out.
Ive had a look here http://www.kv32tweak.freeuk.com/ and found how to get into the service menu. I managed to but It wasnt as straight forward as I had hoped. I was looking for the Deflection menu. but bottled it and left it alone. I thought it would be more set out as menus, you know scroll down to this deflection menu and tweak away.
Has anyone had any joy tweaking?

Does this page (http://www.kv32tweak.freeuk.com/servicemenu/deflection.html) not tell you what each of the settings does?

I printed out a copy of this and noted all my original settings so that I could tweak to my hearts content safe in the knowledge that if it looked terrible I could revert.

Mmmm......... could be that this TV uses different software to the FX range - is it a DVB tv or something like that?

EDIT - Just seen your other post and see that it is an IDTV - really not sure.......

I managed to get in and fiddle around
after getting the screen I mentioned earlier I had to press menu button, then i got in.

looks a better now :)

D J Thanks for trying to help, the geometry is pretty good now, it was only really noticable in 4:3 when the black bars were visible at the sides, The left hand bar sloped, now it pretty good.

Does anyone elses TV when in 4:3 get the feeling that the black bars at the side slightyly "ripple" with the TV picture changing, especially fast action sequences? or is it a optical illusion??
