View Full Version : Jazz singer that sounds like Robbie Williams?
A couple of days ago, I heard a song playing in a shop selling classical/jazz stuff, by some guy that sounded quite a bit like Robbie Williams.. tried to remember the lyrics, but unfortunately I've forgotten them :(
Sorry it's a bit vague, but any help appreciated :)

If it sounded like Robbie circa 'Swing When You're Winning' it might be Jamie Cullum 'Twentysomething' LP which is in the charts at the mo???

i hate him
he thinks he's some kind of Tony Bennet character
Jazz singer that sounds like Robbie Williams?
obviously one to avoid then with that comparison.;)
Michael Buble or Peter Cincotti perhaps?
neither inspires me at all, ditto Jamie Cullum.

Is it just me or does Jamie Cullen sound flat when he sings??
While he might be an excellent jazz pianist, his voice kinda sucks.
Michael Buble I can listen to, his voice has the depth, even if it has all been done before.
Cheers for the replies, I'll have a look about to see if I can find the one I want :)
