Universal have done it again! I hear that all 3 dino movies will be released in a boxset in December along with, oh yes, an EXCLUSIVE fourth disc of previously unseen extras from all 3 films. To soften the blow, Universal have agreed to ship the fourth disc to those who have already purchased JP and Lost World if they send in their proofs of purchase and $6.95. My question is this - is there any way for us in the UK to get hold of this 4th disc without stumping up for the trilogy box set and 2 movies that many of us already own? Or, as with the fifth disc on the R1 Alien box set (which was only sent out to American/Canadian citizens), are we basically snookered here?

proofs of purchase. Oh well there goes my 4th disc & box. I bought the other 2 JP films about a year ago & put the reciept in the bin as soon as I checked the discs:(

When American are talking about Proof of Purchase they don't actually talk about receipts, they talk about these little cardboard things within the DVD, usually there are 3-5 of them, these are the ones you have to send into them, but of course only American DVD's will have these, so everyone who got theirs here in the UK will not be able to get it, I guess.... hope this helps

Proof of purchases are usually small vouchers which tear off. They are usually in the main case.

Take a look, you might find them.

Not that I imagine they'll ship that 4th disc out of the us :(

Check out this thread on the excellent dv-depot forums for a bit more info

I wouldn't panic, I expect they'll release the set here when JP3 is due out.

Has anyone got a price or a link for this new set on R1? Amazon don't list it yet.

It's up on amazon for $62.96 including delivery (just do a search for Jurassic Park Trilogy), no details though.

Have they actually mentioned that will require proof of purchase tokens? I can't see that anywhere.
Do you have to preorder this DVD to get the chance to get the 4th disc and box? Will this offer not be included with JPIII if you buy it a shop in the US? I was thinking of asking a friend in Boston to get for me when it is released, but this will not work if it is only valid with pre-orders.

No you will be able to get the 4th disc when you purchase JP3 in a shop but you will need the Proofs of purchase of JP1+2 from the American DVD Editions and $6.95. With regards to Mailorder to abroad I doubt that they are too eager to do this, as they want to prevent non American citizen to have Region 1 DVD's in the first place so I guess it will be tricky to get them shipped over here by mailorder. However if you have friends or reletives I am sure they can do it. But as with everything in the states you have to be pacient, as it tend to take weeks before you get the discs.

Well, that is fine since I already have the R1 box of JP/LW. I guess I will have to get home and see if there were any POP's in the individual discs. I know about the tear off POP's but I seem to think that the box did not include this since the dics are in seperate Amray cases.
