A character (well that's a bit ambitious!), in home and away has just been sent down to a women's nick. in trailers for next weeks shows, i spotted the evil bitch queen herself - joan ferguson - presumably as a warder or the governor. what a bloody marvellous piece of "tie-in" casting. i'll have to watch now to see if bea smith is in as well!

you may have to wait a while, this is this week in Oz! i'm not sure how far C5 are behind. IIRC, they took about a year off when they got the rights from ITV

update.....

somewhat disappointingly she's an inmate rather than a screw..

but did she not get sent down (no, not :norty: ) in the very last episode of prisoner?

Yes, the Freak getting her comeuppance was how PCBH ended. I would expect her to still be in jail.

Which prison by the way? It would be nice if it was Wentworth Detention Centre. though I she'll have been transferred to the Black Hole by now... :dork:

not sure. i only watched it enough to see if she was a screw. it's one thing sitting though neighbours, but H&A is a different kettle of fish altogether!
