With the filming of Big Train series 2 coming up soon, I was wondering why there is still no sign of the first series coming out on DVD....anyone know any more?

I dont know anything about the DVD but I just have to say this is definately one of the funniest shows ever broadcast on TV. So much better than the likes of Trigger Happy TV...which was hilarious the first week, funny the next, so-so the week after and unwatchable the 4th because Id seen it 3 times previous....

The annoying thing about Big Train is its inconsistancy, some times the sketches really hit the mark and others just fall flat on their face or are just overlong.

Can't beat the World Staring Championships though.

This show is responsible for one of the funniest things I have ever seen - The Jekyll & Hyde sketch with the pay-off: "oooh.....very tart!" I laughed like a lunatic when I first saw it and it never fails to raise a smile even when I just think about it. Most of the bods involved in this went on to help Chris Morris in his Blue Jam radio and TV show - talented bunch.

It should be retitled 'The Lost Train' - forever; total and utter drivel.

....But the people pretending to be wild horses is sooo funny - yeah right!

It did have it's moments, esp. the woman who was trying to give up smoking....
