Well done Joe, you've had a great month. We started off poorly and I admit, I was concerned. This last month though, we've played some cracking football (most of the time) and our fortunes have changed.

Well done Joe

Just hope the usual manager of the month curse doesn't strike :brickwall - still Worthington at Norwich won it in September and they've still had a decent following month.

Really close right now in Division One - makes it all the more exciting.

Glad to hear it.

As a Man City fan, I can't complain about our current manager, but I think Joe's a great manager and did a lot of good at City.

Looking at Ipswich's results in the last few weeks, he's doing the business there as well.

He also did amazing things at Oldham on a shoestring over a number of years and I think his record speaks for itself.

Well deserved but I can't help but worry because after he won it back in March we lost the following match against Nottingham Forest.

Although i thought Worthy deserved it more this month than last (100% home record) i think Royle is well deserved i have to say, Counago is scoring well and Kuqi seems to give you that extra spark up front, how long have you got him for?

Slightly worried by how close this league is this season, Norwich have had a great start but the teams there and thereabouts are teams i hadn't expected to have been at the top for a sustained period ( Wigan, Ipswich) and playing strong football

Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see how the league pans out.

Latest news on the norwich front is that Green or Drury in a swap deal for Huckerby, I'd personally be happy to see Drury go, although a great young player he wouldn't provide the cutting edge that Huckerby does. However my heart says we just can't afford him :(

Roll on the Derby

Cheers Big A

Kuqi is on a three month loan, but there seems to be a deal to take him permanently.

Before I mention Huckerby, what silly scaremongering by the EDP about your money. Did you see it? They made it sound like the deal to sell ground near Carrow Road had collapsed because the developers were pulling out... Not True. Read further on into the article and it becomes clear, that NCFC pulled out of the deal and are after more money. It is not a case of NCFC in trouble, but of them negotiating for more and the story as a whole reads very different to the typical sensational headline... I'm used to them with Ipswich. I've seen the media heavily twist our financial woes, not that they were (or are) good, but the situation was and is somewhat different to the headlines.

So don't be alarmed mate by the EDP's "reporting" - which has got worse and worse over the last few years.

As for Huckerby - I've read the rumour about Green going to Man City in a swap for a player, presumably Huckerby. Huckerby is very good and I own to being jealous when you signed him. I wouldn't do the swap however. Green will win you more matches than Huckerby and strikers are easier to find than good keepers. Add to that, Huckerby would currently be on massive wages and, even if he took a drop, he'd still be on higher wages than anyone at NCFC. This threatens team morale, plus leaves you with a high wage bill. Besides, you won without Huckerby the other day and Green has been getting back on top form.

I think you'll go for Crouch and then bring in other loaness throughout the season.

The derby games should be interesting as ever. I hope neither game is spoiled by a few mindless idiots who are allegedly supporters.

My money remains on WBA for top spot, but as for the next spot... I can narrow it down to about 7 teams who could grab it - says something about this season.

Not to sure about Kuqi, but Mahon is to return to Blackburn for treatment on his injury then he will return meaning we can keep him up until December 21st I believe.

I think Norwich are in the same situation as we are in that we would both want to make our loan signings perminate, but will have to find a way to raise the funds required both for the transfer and their wages.

It is similar. Mahon maybe available on a free, the fee for Kuqi is apparently agreed at £250,000. The hope is that the share deal will raise the cash for it.

Bit of info - we wanted to do a share deal last autumn, but this was blocked due to low funds  We were then going to get a big enough cash injection to allow us to have a share scheme - TXU were either going to sponsor a stand, or the whole ground. Had this happened, we'd have had more money from TXU and money from a share scheme - which would've meant no administration

Unfortunately, TXU hit problems and pulled out, meaning less cash than anticipated, meaning not being able to do the share scheme = desperate situations... so then we went into admin :(

Now the share scheme is set to go ahead and will bring in vital cash. If only we'd have been allowed to do it last year, we wouldn't have gone into admin...

I would love to see Bart Williams stay too, he has given the defence a bit more protection

Doh - talked that one up. Not sure if its the Manager of the Month curse, or the Defenders who can't defend curse.

Well done Gills, could've gone either way at the end. Didn't like Brown's timewasting, but he was a very good keeper - all the best for the rest of the season - apart from the return match of course.
