Does anyone know about this cable standard?
I've got a Sanyo Z2 on order :clap: and I'm going to attempt to use the DVI port on it for the output from my TiVo on RGB. Has anyone got any information on if this is possible?
Also - I need to run the cable about 11m, and I know this is outside the spec of the digital domain on DVI....does anyone know if it will cause problems on the analogue side....and if it will work, where should I get a cable?
The ports available on the Z2 are :
Component - which I'll run from my DVD
Co-ax - which I imagine will go unused.
SVHS - not sure if I'll use this, and also I think my cable runs will be outside the spec.
DVI-I - hopefully my saviour and will mean I won't have to get some form of RGB-Component converter/switcher.....
