The R1 and Region 2 Special Edition are listed as both having the same extras etc, except that the Region 2 is on 2 Dics and the Region 1 on 1 Disc.

Also, can aynone shed any light on what extras the Region Free version will contain?? As it is a great price when it gets released.

Great documentary BTW, i wacthed it on saturday.

Regarding the regions i have no idea and would like to know myself but after looking at the three versions at CDWOW the running times are all different, the sound format is different yet the extras appear to be the same (on the R1 and R2 at least).

Anyone else know?

I've taken the R2 back twice because there seems to be a disc autoring problem. After every chapter stop there is a slight pause similar to a layer change which is quite distracting.

I have the Canadian SE, R1, and it's also 2 discs.
The same extras as the 1 disc afaik.
A better bitrate maybe.

I just checked the feature lists on CDWOW and im going for the R1 version, apparently it has a couple of extra features.

If you can, get the American R1 version instead of the Canadian R1 DVD, as the latter has player generated titles that are badly placed and badly timed, especially near the end.......

If you've got a recorder and aren't bothered by extras, it's on Channel 4 this Saturday....
