I have a colleague coming over from Canada, where Driven is out for about £11.50

Has anyone seen it? Is it truely awful?

If I am not expecting an Oscar winning performance and just want a fast film about fast cars, would it do the job.

I was actually a fan of "Days Of Thunder", so wonder if I might actually enjoy this film.

I have to admit that whilst I am sure it will be crap, I can't help enjoying the preview.. Sure, it might be far fetched, but arn't those the best films.

Any feedback appreciated

Jon

Jon,

I got a copy because like you I quite like films about motor racing.

As a films it's no classic and the plot is a simple one, but in terms of being an enjoyable driving movie, it hits the mark.

I feel some of the critisism is a little OTT as this is no "Battlefield Earth", just a weak plot, average acting, good driving and racing scenes.

If you liked days of Thunder, you'll like Driven . . . . maybe.

For that price, why not risk it? If you do get it, let me know what you thought.

Best wishes

I bought the disc and i must admit the story is very iffy but if youve got a widescreen tele and a 5:1 surround set-up, then you will be blown away by the quality of the disc, reference quality for sure.

Bought the disc because I like Renny Harlin’s movies (I know I’m mental) but this is a POS on every level. It’s insultingly bad and all involved should be ashamed. This one is EBay bound.
