Floor stands or wall mount?

Considering the Canton CD1 5.1 pack from HCH as a partner to my recently purchased Denon 1803 receiver. What's the consensus, wall mount or stands? I realise the stands give a bit more flexibiility in positioning but will the speakers sound better fixed to walls?

I guess to a certainextent it will depend on the construction of your walls. If they are solid brick/block, then the speakers will be nicely isolated.

Also depends on the positioning that the speakers demand and how much air they have to shift - ie where the crossover sits with the sub (assuming that they work in that way - not familiar with these speaker per se).

another thing to think about is the property...are you renting? or planning to move anytime soon?

Not much point in fancy mounting if your moving out, and if your renting then the contracts often say sommit along the lines of 'modifications must be restorable to previous condition' etc
