Anybody know anything about this recent 2 disc re-issue? Is it like Enter the Dragon and worth getting a R1 version (if there is such a thing?)
Any views would be welcome.
its 2 discs 5.1 audio
extras are stunning a new 50 min doc
deleted scenes
reconstruction of the fight scene as lee scripted 40 mins
jeet kune do seminar
interviews
biographys
rare phot archive
anamorphic pic stunning even if the film does not live up to this kind of presentation

The disc is a silk purse, the film is a sow's ear - much of it is unsalvageably bad (Lee simply didn't film enough of it before he died to make it coherent), but Hong Kong Legends' treatment is about as good as it's ever likely to get.
For a lengthy review, see my signature.

Hong Kong Legends region 2 releases of the Bruce Lee movies are easily the best editions that have ever been made - so be sensible people and buy them all NOW!:D
yeah, the HKL release of GoD is top (for the extras)....did anyone else think the following though? :D
Game of Death Revisited - the 40mins of Original footage edited together in sequence - I'm assuming this was shot silent, and that the voices have recently been added? If this is correct, I'm almost positive Bey Logan is providing his best Bruce Lee impression (for the voice of Bruce) :) am i correct, or am I totally wrong?
I certainly couldn't stop smiling as i'm sure it was Bey.

I've decided to skip GoD for obvious reasons.
