So you say you're a fan of Lord of the Rings and you can't wait for a look at the upcoming film version of The Fellowship of the Ring? Well, if you're an avid DVD nut, you probably already know about the hidden Easter egg on New Line's Little Nicky DVD - the teaser trailer for Fellowship in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound. What's that? You say that's not enough for you? Okay... riddle me this: what do the following two films have in common?

Normally nothing... but if you happen to pick yourself up a copy of Rush Hour 2 on DVD when it streets on December 11th, you're gonna love what you find hidden on the disc. Yep... not just one but two trailers for Fellowship of the Ring - the second teaser trailer and the newly-released full theatrical trailer - both in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio! Our most reliable studio sources have confirmed this. How's that for some cool Easter eggs? Did I tell you that you can click on the cover there to preorder the disc? ;-)

Stay tuned...

That's only Region 2 I think. Which I wouldn't touch that with 40 yard barge pole as it's EiV and they'll probably do the same thing they did with Rush Hour, removing subtitles when they're speeking Cantonese!

All R1 New Line discs are distributed on R2 by EIV aren't they?

Both Mortal Kombat and The Lawnmower Man are NL films but were distributed by CTHV for some reason!?! Must be before EiV got the rights for NL films!
