I have read several posts in other forums about Disney DVDs saying that they don't adhere to DVD standards and many players have difficulty playing their discs. Some one please correct me if I am wrong.

Disney's discs do comply to standards (except Jungle Book R2 which Sony says doesn't). Disney have said that even though they call their discs "Disney DVDs" they are official dvds otherwise they would not allowed to be used the word "DVD" on the discs. Disney have been taking the specs to the limits (but remaining in spec) and they are using a lot of features that it seems player manufacterers didn't think anyone would use (so cutbacks on players trip up)
The problem is a large majority of player don't comply to standards (why do you think simple firware updates fix almost all the problems)
Non-compliant players are causing a lot of problems, a lot of companies have limited the maximum bitrate of their dvds because many early player do not comply to the maximum allowed bitrate according to the dvd spec (causes problems such as jumping, audio drop out etc.)
Have tried both tours on my Tosh 2109 and both play with no problems.
Thanks for the insight guys,i,ve just played it in my panny l50 &plays o.k.
