Got some Eltax Symphony 6.2 speakers and have noticed a severe buzzing and rattle from one of them over the past few days.

Had a look this morning and discovered that the rubber bit around the speaker cone (sorry - don't know technical terms!) has come loose and is vibrating on bass sounds.

So - looking for some glue to fix it. Thinking of Copydex as it is flexible why dried. What do people think - will that be OK?

How old are the speakers? If they are less than a year this should be covered under guarantee, and you would be better off taking them back to the place of purchase before going anywhere near them with glue!!

P.S. This is also in the wrong forum. :)

They are under guarantee but since I have no transport, it's rather difficult for me to get it back to the store.

I just thought I may be able to fix it myself as it seemed rather a simple thing if I can get the right type of glue.
