Watched North by Northwest - Which Hitchcock DVD next?

Hi,

finally got around to watching North by Northwest last and must say i really enjoyed it. Anyone got any recommendations as to which Hitchock DVD i should get hold of next?

The R2 Strangers On A Train is a good little package - great film, & can be had for about a tenner.

not a fan of hitchcock, but after watching N by NW, i watched Rear window. Definately prefered Rear Window.

Another praise for Rear Window - this is a true classic. THe Birds also extremley atmospheric. Also you might enjoy Rope.

Don't miss "Vertigo" (R2) and, in R1, "Psycho", "The Birds" and "Marnie". For starters, that is... :)

Consider the various Universal box sets now available in the US, the UK and Australia.

If you want to splash out, have a look at Criterion's catalogue (including forthcoming releases of "Rebecca", "Notorious" and "Spellbound" - all three of which you may still be able to find in superb transfers from Anchor Bay for about US$10 each).

...while being aware that, in Region 4 at least, "The Birds" has (bizarrely) been given the full-frame treatment, and the print is reportedly not all that...
