View Full Version : Screen Grab Request - Matrix Reloaded
I would like a screen grab of the scene where the Oracle is handing out the 'candy' to Neo. She opens hers and puts it in her mouth. I need to see what the candy looks like. So a screen grab just before she puts the candy in her mouth so I can see it.
I watched it the other day and I'm sure the candy was the red pill from the first film! :eek:
Also, can someone remind me what pill Neo takes in the first film? Was it the blue one or the red one?

Yeah, especially Morpheus' teeth since he seems to be the one with the packet of jelly beans in his coat pocket. :suspect:
I bet he secretly eats them all the time then has to go back to the Oracle to get another packet.
But now that shes gone he'll have to get them from the local shop, perhaps now he'll have to give out jelly babies instead! :nuts:

When the oracle asks whether Neo wants a candy, he should say he prefers the blue ones.
I just checked the pill scene again, The blue pill is to go back into the matrix, and the red pill to go to the real world. He takes the red pill.
I thought this was going to be a thread requesting all the shots where you can see Monica Belluci's pubes. :D

I went through all of her scenes yesterday frame by frame for research pursposes and there is a definite dark patch down there. :D

They might not do anything.
Morpheus and the rest in the real world just take him out of the matrix.
If he took the blue pill, Morpheous would probably tell him to go home to bed and go to work the next day.
I've never really thought about this, but what does the red pill do to Neo in order to release him from the Matrix?
Doesn't it either let them locate him in factory or sever his connection to the machine making it reject him - or both.

Morpheus explains it - It disrupts his neural (or something) signal so that they can locate him in the real world and free him from the battery pod type things, which is when they pick him up in the ship.
Edit - Although they don't actually free him. The flying machine comes up and pulls his jack plug out of the back of his head, then flushes him. So it must make him be rejected as well like Hex said.

She was with the guards of the guy who glowed orange in the Matrix IIRC wasn't she? If he was another previous 'One' then he could have realised after he made his decision not to sacrifice himself, as will Neo, that he is just another program of The Matrix designed to give the humans false hope, and it is all one big continuous cycle and he has decided to help the humans try and realise this? Or am I just talking cack?

The red pill and the red jelly bean do look a lot like each other! I'm sure this wouldn't have been a coincidence! Why did they even need to mention the 'candy' in 'Reloaded' anyway! All she does is eat it and Neo just puts his away... maybe for later in the 3rd film! :suspect:

Yeah, that's right. I remember now. It's basically a tracking device.

I don't think so as I think Neo is the first 'one' to choose the door that he chose. Otherwise there would have been the "cataclysmic system crash" that the architect mentioned. Unless there's something that he's not telling us...

The way I see it, they all have emotional responses to the Architects news that makes them go back. Neo's particular emotion this time round is love.
I think the Architect knows that the fundamental flaw is choice, so he knows the One will always go back due to the human emotional response given the choice. I think that it is necessary for him to go back to complete the 'Revolution' of The Matrix. Maybe by sacrificing himself in the source like the Architect said in order to save everyone. Which could be why there are no previous Ones around too.

The people on the screens aren't the previous Ones. The screens show the predicted responses that Neo might make, hence all the screens saying "********" as denial is the most common response. The Ones probably didn't look anything like Keanu Reeves.

also, i think this time round the cycle is being played out as before. with smith growing out of control and taking over much of the matrix the machines are losing control.
this is purely speculative, drawing on points from reloaded and from the trailers for revolutions. i am not responsible for inaccurate data provided here. ;) :p

No, I'm pretty sure Neo's the first to go back to the matrix. Going to the source restarts the cycle so he must be. He goes to the source and his code goes back into the matrix, thus resarting the one cycle. Then Zion is destroyed killing all the anomalies, so the rebels have to start all over again in terms of uprising against the machines.
Also, if all the other ones had chosen what neo chose, it would be boring as the machines would have been prepared for it......if that makes sense:confused:
